After arriving the night before, we attended Liturgy with Gabriel’s nouna (godmother) and then celebrated Mother’s Day with her family.
The big boys are making a summer smash book. It’s essentially a rustic scrapbook. They worked on it one evening at nouna’s house.
My boys decided her basement was the Batcave – as in Batman – because her home is 100 years old. The basement is rustic, not cement, which fueled the boys’ imaginations. Her home was lovely with all the charm you’d expect from a century old home in New England.
Thank you again Cassandra for your generous hospitality!
