Okay….not quite Everest but Niki & my aunt said I looked I was ready to climb it. I’ll take it! I got a baby carrier backpack for my birthday. My kids & I went for a leisurely hike around the park near the art museum. I wanted to try out my present & hoped Gabriel would like it. He wasn’t so sure about it when I initially strapped him in but as soon as he was up on my back – he loved it! I’m looking forward to doing some hiking with my kids this summer. I figure I can multi-task with these outings: build muscles strength for some of the boys, hope to drop 26 more pounds to reach my personal goal weight, nature studies, teach the boys some life skills (direction, safety, etc), & some attachment therapy.
I dropped the sleeve for my camera & my kids volunteered to go look for it for me. All of a sudden I hear, “Let’s get her!” & then see Niki running for it with two of her brothers chasing her. Hahaha
My boys were pretending this was the barren Gobi desert.
Then they were pretending they were in the wild jungles of Central America. Always an adventure with these kiddos – with a stick in hand!
